What they are for

OneCal is a calendar sync product. As of 3 October 2026, its pricing page includes real-time sync, one-way and multi-way sync, scheduling links, and a unified calendar.

You pick it when the other calendar should hold a clone of the event, with the detail level you configure.

What OnlyBusy writes

OnlyBusy writes one private Busy event per block. The label can differ per calendar. The source title is read so you can see your own event, then dropped.

Disconnect a calendar and OnlyBusy removes the blocks it created and deletes the stored tokens for that account.

Who should stay with them

Stay with OneCal when you want cloned events, scheduling links, iCloud or CalDAV, or a unified view of every calendar.

Their pricing page says you can choose what event information to sync and that private event controls are included.

Who should add OnlyBusy

Add OnlyBusy when the other tenant should see a Busy label and nothing of the meeting itself.

OnlyBusy does not offer a unified calendar, iCloud, or CalDAV. Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 are the calendars it connects today.
